kid’s series
littlebeak is proud to have produced the first series of 25×5-mins CBeebies show 'Numtums', to be aired on the channel from March 2012.
working hand-in-hand with the BBC, the show features an energetic bunch of cute marsupials, with numbers on their rotund bellies, and is aimed at 2-4 year-olds. the aim is to introduce numbers to young kids in a unique, modular way.
studio branding for the show is under our parent logo 'beakus', and the animation was directed and produced by Steve Smith. design is by Matthias Hoegg, and our lead animator was Sylvain Magne, who developed a bespoke animation technique that renders 2D as 3D!
early next year we will post up more info, images and feedback from our audience, so in those immortal words – stay tuned!
we are also developing original concepts children's series, drawing on our experience in both the animation and picture book industries, and have an IP for 52 x 5-mins show, with teaser, already attracting attention.
